The local council of Ar’arat an-Naqab village on Sunday organized a vigil in protest at the attacks of Israeli police against Palestinian inhabitants of the village.
Palestinian protestors took to the streets of the village raising posters and chanting slogans that condemn the Israeli police violations against Palestinians.
“Palestinians need police to provide security and not to fire at unarmed citizens” Nizar Abu Arar head of the local council said.
Last Thursday educational institutions all over Ar’arat an-Naqab went on a general strike after a Palestinian child was injured by the Israeli police’s live bullets.
