A Palestinian young man was pronounced dead in the blockaded Gaza Strip on Tuesday after he succumbed to injuries sustained during the anti-occupation uprising of 1991.
Atef al-Mukwasi from Jabalia refugee camp north of Gaza Strip died of wounds he sustained in the Stone Intifada (Uprising) of 1991.
Mukwasi had gone quadriplegic as a result of the Israeli-inflicted wounds before he was pronounced dead on Tuesday in the besieged enclave.
Hundreds of Palestinians have gone paralyzed as a result of the aggressive attacks launched by the Israeli army on anti-occupation protesters during the First Intifada.
