The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds has condemned the international community’s inaction towards the ongoing Israeli violations of the Palestinian people’s lands and rights.
In a press statement on Thursday the League said that Israel is escalating its settlement expansion plans in addition to the confiscation of Palestinian houses and lands stressing that Palestinians are still suffering from the consequences of the Israeli siege imposed on Gaza for more than 16 years.
The League hailed all the institutions that showed solidarity with the Palestinian people. It pointed out that despite of the UN declaration of an International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People the international community stands idle by while Israel attacks Palestinians in violation of all the international laws and conventions.
It called on the international community to shoulder its responsibility and support the Palestinian people until they regain their rights pointing out that the new Israeli government is adamant on pursuing racist policies against the Palestinian people lands and sanctities.
