A delegation of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) visited on Wednesday Ismail Haneyya Head of Hamas’s Political bureau and hailed the Movement’s efforts to achieve Palestinian reconciliation as evident during its delegation’s visit to Cairo.
The PLC media office said in a statement on Wednesday that Haneyya acquainted the delegation which was led by Ahmad Bahar the PLC First Deputy Speaker with details of the Cairo agreement and the efforts exerted toward ending the internal division and reaching reconciliation.
Bahar hailed the Egyptian role and keenness on accomplishing reconciliation and reiterated his demand that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas along with Prime Minister Rami al-Hamdallah would shoulder their responsibilities toward the blockaded Gaza Strip and commence reconciliation procedures.
