The Egyptian authorities on Sunday morning opened the Rafah border crossing for the second consecutive day for the travel of Palestinian passengers in both directions following its decision to open it for three days.
According to the Palestinian border and crossing authority in Gaza four buses boarded by passengers headed for the Egyptian terminal in the morning.
The crossing authority said that Palestinian passengers were still flocking to the Palestinian terminal of the crossing after the departure of the four buses pointing out that the Egyptian authorities barred about 38 passengers from traveling with no stated reasons.
457 passengers had entered the Egyptian territory on Saturday.
