Photo galleries on Palestine staged in Santiago

Monday 9-January-2017

The Palestinian Social Club in the Chilean capital Santiago is hosting nowadays several photo exhibitions on the Palestinian people and their national cause including historical pictures before and after the occupation of Palestine.

The exhibitions have been organized on the sidelines of preparations being made by representatives of the Palestinian community from 14 countries in South and Central America to hold a conference for the Palestinians in Latin America later this year.

One of the exhibitions tells the story of Palestine in Spanish from 1900 prior to the British occupation to the present time.

Another one talks in English about Israel’s apartheid wall in the West Bank and its racist practices against the Palestinians.

The other two photo galleries contain aerial photographs of Palestinian cities towns and villages captured by German planes in 1917 as well as ancient scenes about the pre-occupation social and cultural life in Palestine.

The exhibitions aim to create awareness about the justice of the Palestinian cause among the new Palestinian generations and citizens of Latin America.
