The mother of the political prisoner Qutaiba Azem held in PA prisons for more than a month declared Friday an open hunger strike in protest against his illegal detention.
Speaking to the PIC reporter Azem family said that Qutaiba’s health situation is at risk holding the PA responsible for his safety.
The mother’s decision came immediatly after the PA court ordered to extend his detention for 15 days for the second consecutive time.
Qutaiba’s sister Duaa has been also on hunger strike since Wednesday demanding her brother’s release.
