Palestinian activists politicians and journalists confirmed their participation in the Popular Conference of Palestinians Abroad which will take place on 25 – 26 February in Istanbul.
Majed al-Zeer the head of the Palestinians in Europe Conference pointed out that the participation of Palestinians in Europe might be a major part of the activities.
“Hundreds of Palestinian figures will represent the broad spectrum of the Palestinian people both in terms of professional or political background in addition to diversity of ages as well as women who will participate in various workshops” he added.
Al-Zeer also stressed that the European participation will be an important strategic dimension in the Popular Conference of Palestinians Abroad.
For his Part Monther Rajab the head of the association of Palestinian Doctors in Europe stressed the importance of participating in all activities that support Palestine including the Popular Conference of Palestinians Abroad.
“The Popular Conference of Palestinians Abroad is an urgent need for activating the Palestinian people in all forms and frameworks including youths and women’s union” according to Saif Abu Kishk the coordinator of Palestinian Youth Network in Spain.
