The General Secretariat of Popular Conference of Palestinians Abroad on Friday held its 5th meeting in Beirut to discuss the Palestinian issues and the managerial plans and agenda of the conference during the year.
The Secretary General of the Conference Munir Shafiq stressed the necessity to draw more attention to the latest developments on the Palestinian Question and the Intifada (uprising) as well as the passive positions of the Palestinian Authority in light of the US decisions on Jerusalem.
The Vice President of the General Secretariat of the conference Majed al-Zir said that the conference’s committees are still working on achieving the objective of unifying the efforts of Palestinians in diaspora.
