Israeli settlers on Friday damaged and vandalized Palestinian houses in Barqa town east of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank in what locals are calling a “price tag attack.”
Locals in the village said that a group of settlers stormed the area at dawn today and spray-painted “racist slogans” on Palestinian houses.
The settlers also punctured the tires of several vehicles before leaving the village.
The attack is the fourth of its kind in the West Bank over the past few days.
Better known as “price tag” attacks extremist Israeli settlers use violent acts of retribution on Palestinians and their property to demonstrate their opposition to Israeli restrictions on settlements and their outposts in the occupied West Bank.
