The Israeli military court in Ofer jail has reinstated a previous prison term issued against Palestinian prisoner Omar al-Saifi a 32-year-old resident of Deheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem.
According to Asra Media Office prisoner Saifi is one of the ex-detainees who were released as part of the 2011 prisoner swap deal after he spent five years out of his 10-year prison sentence at the time.
Later in 2015 Saifi was arbitrarily rejailed before the Ofer court reactivated a few days ago the prison time he had to complete before.
Prisoner Saifi had recently refused an Israeli offer to exile him aboard in exchange for not making him serve his previous remaining five years in jail.
