The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) on Thursday transferred Palestinian prisoner Ahmed Nassar to administrative detention immediately after an Israeli court ordered his release.
One of the prisoner’s brother told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that members from the family went to the court where they paid the fine set by the judge and signed the papers for his release when suddenly they were told that Ahmed was rearrested and transferred to administrative detention after he left the prison.
Ahmed Nassar is an ex-detainee who has spent about two years in Israeli jails. He was just released last year before sending him back to prison four months ago and then releasing him recently after he underwent hunger strike.
Later Israeli soldiers kidnapped him from his home last July and sent him to jail once again. He was supposed to be released on bail on August 30.
