Friday 30-June-2017

The Palestinian detainee Mohammad Allan a 33-year-old lawyer from Einabous town near Nablus has entered Friday his 22nd day on hunger strike in protest at his incarceration in Israeli jails.

An Israeli court has recently extended the detention order against Allan who was arrested on June 06 2017. “Allan announced starting an open hunger strike in protest at extending his detention” his mother said.

Captive Allan was an ex-detainee who was arrested twice and served over three years in Israeli prisons for being a member of the Islamic Jihad Movement. In the second arrest he waged an open hunger strike that lasted for 65 days in protest at being arrested under the illegal administrative detention order for one year based on no charge or trial.
