Prisoners Committee of national and Islamic factions in Gaza decided to boycott the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for its negligence regarding the issue of Palestinian prisoners.
The committee said in a press release on Monday that the boycott was in response to the ICRC inaction regarding the Israeli assaults and repressive acts against the prisoners.
Coordinator of Prisoners Committee Khamis Dababesh told Quds Press that “the ICRC did not help Palestinian captives who were attacked by Israeli jailers in Nafha and Negev prisons last week”.
