The Palestinian Forum in Britain (PFB) has participated with the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign (PSC) and other organizations to organize a protest in front of the BBC headquarters to demand that the BBC does not officially endorse and cover the annual contest which is set to be hosted in occupied Jerusalem.
Faris Tamimi spoke on behalf of the PFB emphasizing the right to criticize Israel and the aggressions perpetrated against the Palestinian people and that criticizing Israel is not the same as anti-Semitism.
Yaman Hmidan a young rap artist performed a song in solidarity with the victims of the occupation in Palestine while Ben Jamal speaking on behalf of the PSC stated the importance of continuing to hold campaigns to pressure and boycott the Eurovision singing contest and the formation of a petition that can be discussed in parliament in this matter.
