RAMALLAH (PIC)– The Muslim Youth Association in the West Bank called for a rally outside the Mukata’ (the PA President’s Headquarters) to protest the PA’s decision to return to futile negotiations with the Israeli occupation despite its daily crimes against Palestinian people and their land.
The association criticised in a statement the PA and the Fatah movement in particular for insisting on futile negotiations for the past 20 years despite the fact that the occupation continued throughout to expand settlements and confiscate more and more land leaving Palestinians with very little for their putative state.
The association added that the PA declared that it would not go back to negotiations unless settlement building is frozen and Palestinian captives are released and neither of these conditions was fulfilled yet the PA decided to go back to negotiations.
The association concluded its statement by calling for the protest on Saturday at 1:00 pm outside the Mukata’a in Ramallah.
