A number of Palestinians including the mother of an anti-occupation youth were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Thursday in an abduction sweep rocking the West Bank and Jerusalem.
An Israeli patrol rolled into Ebu Esneineh neighborhood in al-Khalil and kidnapped the Palestinian citizen Arafat Abu Husain and his son Samir after they wreaked havoc on their family home.
The IOF also ravaged a supermarket in Jabal Jawhar area at the same time as over 200 Israeli soldiers raked through al-Khalil’s Old City.
Meanwhile Palestinian young man Omar Hashash was injured with live ammunition unleashed by the occupation forces in Balata refugee camp east of Nablus.
Clashes burst out between the occupation patrols and Palestinian anti-occupation youth shortly after the assault culminating in the abduction of ex-prisoner Mohamed Marshoud from his home in the camp.
The IOF ransacked civilian homes in the area sparking terror among children.
Overnight two Palestinian young men were kidnapped by Israeli soldiers from the area and were released hours later.
At the same time an Israeli troop broke into the home of Palestinian teen Abdul Rahman Abu Jamal suspected of carrying out an anti-occupation stabbing attack in Jabal al-Mukbir south of occupied Jerusalem before they kidnapped his mother and threatened to demolish the family home soon.
Late on Wednesday evening Israeli police said a stabbing attack was carried out at the Oz police station established on occupied Palestinian land in Jabal al-Mukbir leaving five officers wounded.
