Palestinian ex-prisoners have continued on Saturday holding a sit-in for the 42nd consecutive day in Yasser Arafat Square in Ramallah City over their suspended salaries.
The protesters declared in a press conference an open hunger strike starting from today.
They also threatened to take escalatory steps by stopping taking water and vitamins.
The protested ex-prisoners called on Egyptian authorities as the mediator of Wafa al-Ahrar swap deal to demand the Palestinian Authority (PA) to backtrack on its decision to halt their monthly payments.
They also held the PA responsible for their lives especially that many of them suffer different health problems.
