A demonstration was held in Belgium’s metropolitan city of Brussels on Wednesday to protest Trump’s recent decision to recognize Occupied Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Dozens of protesters rallied outside the U.S. embassy in Brussels yelling anti-U.S. slogans.
The protesters condemned Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital dubbing Israel an occupying and illegitimate entity.
In a speech from the White House delivered on Wednesday December 6 Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and pledged to start measures to relocate the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to the historical city setting off angry protests across the occupied Palestinian territories and other corners of the world.
