Palestinian ex-prisoners have continued on Friday holding a sit-in for the twentieth consecutive day in Yasser Arafat Square in Ramallah City over their halted salaries.
National figures and local and foreign activists have been joining the sit-in on daily basis showing their total support to the protesters’ demands mainly restoring their monthly payments recently halted by the Palestinian Authority (PA).
Along the same line national and Islamic factions on Thursday waged a vigil in solidarity with the protested ex-prisoners in Ramallah.
A similar event was also waged in al-Khalil by the families of the ex-prisoners whose salaries were halted to demand the PA to backtrack on its step.
