GAZA (PIC)– One day after IOF tanks’ shells killed three of their comrades fighters of the Qassam Brigades (QB) the armed wing of Hamas Movement blocked a number of IOF units attempting to sneak into the tiny Gaza Strip and engaged them in fierce armed clashes at the first hours of Sunday morning.
In a military communiqué it issued and a copy of which was faxed to the PIC the QB affirmed that a group of its fighters monitoring and guarding the eastern part of Gaza Strip spotted a group of Israeli occupation soldiers trying to infiltrate into the area and forestalled them with two homemade Al-Yassin projectiles.
The group furthermore affirmed in the communiqué that it will remain faithful to the Palestinian people’s constants and national aspirations and that it will never abandon the legitimate resistance against the Israeli occupation vowing to avenge the IOF troops’ massacres and crimes against the unarmed Palestinian civilians in occupied Palestine.
For its part the Nasser Salahuddin Brigades the armed wing of the PRC took the credit for blocking another IOF infiltration attempt into the southern Gaza Strip district of Rafah Sunday morning.
According to a communiqué it issued and a copy of which was obtained by the PIC the PRC affirmed that its fighters were closely monitoring the IOF ploys asserting that its fighters were and still are ready to rebuff any IOF military adventure into the Strip.
Two of the group’s homemade Nasser-2 rockets were fired at a group of IOF tanks and artilleries at the Juhr Al-Deik area east of Gaza Strip where the three Qassam fighters fell on Saturday.
In the West Bank Palestinian resistance fighters in Nablus city ambushed an IOF patrol attempting to storm the city and intensively fired at them.
IOF sources acknowledged the attack and described it as “intense” adding that the assault inflicted material damage on the patrol but alleged that no casualties were reported in the Israeli soldiers’ lines due to the attack.
