GAZA (PIC)– The Qassam Brigades the armed wing of the Hamas Movement on Monday fired five Qassam rockets at an IOF foot patrol and a vehicle for Israeli intelligence at the Kissufim crossing.
The QB in a communiqué said that the attack before noon Monday was in retaliation to the IOF incessant aggression on the Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
It said that announcement of the operation was delayed due to security reasons and warned the IOF that continued crimes would entail “painful Qassam reprisals”.
For its part the Quds Brigades the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement said it fired at an IOF unit of its engineering corps east of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza afternoon Monday.
The armed wing said in a communiqué that the targeted elements were directly hit in the attack and added that the operation was in response to IOF arrest campaigns in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
