GAZA (PIC)– Hamas’ armed wing the Qassam Brigades (QB) has disclosed details of its qualitative armed attack that was executed by one of its fighters against IOF troops in northern Gaza Strip affirming that the attack reaped lives of at least five Israeli occupation soldiers.
According to a military communiqué it issued and a copy of which was obtained by the PIC the QB affirmed that after five hours of monitoring and surveillance a commando unit of the QB stationed in Beit Lahia city spotted a gathering of IOF troops north of the city and decided to attack them.
One of the unit’s fighters the statement explained stormed the IOF base where at least 20 Israeli soldiers were relaxing after wreaking havoc in Palestinian lands. The resistance fighter attacked and peppered them with dozens of bullets and hand grenades killing at least five of them and wounding others before safely withdrawing.
Eyewitnesses in areas overlooking the mini-base affirmed they have seen at least five black bags transported by Apache choppers and a number of wounded soldiers rushed by ambulance vehicles to Israeli hospitals in the 1948-occupied Palestinian lands.
The IOF command acknowledged the attack but claimed that two Palestinian attackers were killed; the QB immediately denied such claims affirming that the lone attacker succeeded in returning to base after 2 hours of continuous hiking in “very difficult circumstances”.
In addition the QB underlined that the attack which was dubbed as “stunning lightening” was only a prelude for more deadly attacks on IOF troops invading the tiny Gaza Strip of 1.4 million Palestinian inhabitants.
Other Palestinian resistance factions managed to fire at least 12 homemade rockets and mortar shells at IOF positions near the Sofa crossing point east of Gaza Strip and the Israeli settlement of Sderot hitting a factory inside that colony.
The resistance fighters affirmed that the attack on IOF outposts and Israeli settlements were in retaliation to IOF aerial and land bombarding of Palestinian homes and crimes against Palestinian citizens in Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile Hamas Movement revealed that 35 of its cadres and cadres of the executive force of the PA interior minister were killed since last Sunday explaining that 13 of them were martyred with IOF troops’ bullets tank shells and missile attacks while the 22 others were killed at the hands of PA security apparatuses loyal to PA chief Mahmoud Abbas.
In Sderot Hebrew media reported that at least 4000 of its 20000 inhabitants had fled the settlement fearing for their lives. They said that the 4000 were evacuated with the help of others while hundreds others fled on their own.
Other reports said that a similar mass exodus was in the offing in the coastal city of Ashkelon fearing that Palestinian crude resistance missiles might hit them especially when they already started to fall at the southern outskirts of that city which was occupied by Zionist gangs since 1948.
