QB warns of “unprecedented response” if Israel assassinates any leader

Sunday 8-May-2022

Al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas has warned that there would be an “unprecedented and earth-shattering response” if the Israeli occupation state decided to resume the policy of assassinations against Palestinian leaders.

“We warn the enemy and its losing leadership that any harm coming to leader Yehya as-Sinwar or any resistance leaders will trigger an earthshaking and unprecedented response in the region” Abu Obeida spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades said in a brief statement.

The spokesman stressed that “the Sword of Jerusalem battle would be a normal event compared to what the enemy would see” if it took the decision to assassinate Sinwar or any leader in Gaza warning that the occupation state would pay dearly for such foolish decision.

For their part the Palestinian resistance factions warned in a joint statement that any attempt to assassinate any one of their leaders at home or abroad would open the gates of hell for the occupation state.

“Such folly if committed would shake the foundations of this crisis-torn entity that suffers clearly from a state of confusion and chaos” they affirmed.

These warnings by the Palestinian resistance came amid growing talk in Israeli media that the occupation state could assassinate Hamas leader Yehya as-Sinwar in response to Thursday’s resistance operation in Elad City which resulted in the death of three Israelis.
