Member of Hamas Political Bureau Abroad Hisham Qassem said on Tuesday that the new appalling massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the northern West Bank city of Nablus constitutes part of the ongoing Israeli aggression against all the Palestinian people.
Qassem said in a press release that the violent IOF raid on the Old City of Nablus which came two days after the Israeli escalation on the Gaza Strip that claimed the lives of dozens of people and hundreds of wounded both reveal that all the Palestinian territories have become fortresses of resistance that inflict wounds in the enemy.
“The new Israeli crime in Nablus exposes the Israeli policy that aims to completely eradicate the Palestinian resistance and reveals Israel’s concerns about the outbreak of a new Palestinian intifada” Qassem added.
He concluded that the Israeli crimes require a proper response from the Palestinian people in all the cities of Occupied Palestine including the Gaza Strip West Bank Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 as well as the diaspora.
Earlier in the morning two Palestinian resistance fighters and one child were killed during a violent Israeli army raid on the Old City of Nablus. 69 citizens were also injured by IOF gunfire during the events.
