Palestinian prisoner Raed Rayan suspended his hunger strike after reaching an agreement with the Israeli prison authorities on Thursday evening.
Rayan has been on hunger strike for 113 days in protest at his administrative detention without charge or trial.
Rayan reached an agreement with the Israeli prison authorities to stop renewing his administrative detention.
The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) hailed Rayan’s determination and strong will.
Rayan is one of nearly 600 Palestinians held without charge or trial under Israel’s unlawful administrative detention policy deemed illegal by international law.
