Egyptian authorities exceptionally opened on Monday morning the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the besieged Gaza strip in both directions.
The crossing has been open in both directions to allow passage of humanitarian cases and the return of the stranded Gazans the border crossing authorities said in a brief statement.
Several buses have been prepared since morning hours for the passengers’ transfer the statement added.
The Rafah crossing has been closed for 20 consecutive days.
