The Gaza border crossings authorities declared on Thursday that Rafah crossing would be opened for three days starting from next week.
Egyptian authorities informed the Palestinian crossing authority of their intention to open the Rafah crossing between the besieged Gaza Strip and Egypt for three days in both directions starting from Saturday.
The Interior Ministry in Gaza has revealed that 16000 people are in urgent need to travel abroad for humanitarian reasons.
This is the first time that Rafah crossing would be opened since the beginning of 2017.
