Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Wednesday night and at dawn Thursday a campaign of raids searches and arrests in various areas of the West Bank.

In Nablus local sources said that IOF stormed Salem village and conducted extensive searches of citizens’ homes.

IOF arrested Anas Shtayyeh 25 his brother Khaled 21 and Amr Hamdan 20 from the village.

In al-Khalil eyewitness reported that IOF arrested Muhammad Burqan 32 after raiding his house in the southern area of al-Khalil.

The IOF soldiers set up military checkpoints at the entrances to the city and its towns and camps and searched citizens’ vehicles and checked their ID cards.

In Ramallah IOF raided Kharbatha Bani Harith village and the Al-Huda Fuel Company northwest of the city and seized surveillance camera recordings from Al-Bireh city and the company.

The IOF soldiers arrested Ali Al-Sheikh 25 after breaking into his house according to the local sources.

In Bethlehem IOF stormed the Aida refugee camp and clashes erupted.

Three young men were shot with live bullets by IOF and they were taken to Beit Jala Hospital for treatment. Three other citizens were arrested after raiding and searching their families’ homes the eyewitness added.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed on Wednesday several areas in the West Bank and arrested a number of Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes.

In Ramallah IOF raided several neighborhoods in Al-Bireh city for more than two hours especially in Al-Balou’ neighborhood. IOF soldiers broke into many houses searched them and destroyed their contents.

IOF arrested Amin Hassouna and his son Ahmed from Al-Balou’ neighborhood while another young man was arrested and taken to an unknown investigation center.

Meanwhile IOF closed the iron gate leading to Aboud village northwest of Ramallah.

In Jenin the IOF soldiers arrested Bassem Ghawadra 30 from Bir al-Basha village south of Jenin after storming and searching his family’s home.

In Tubas IOF raided Tayasir village east of Tubas and broke into several houses searched them and tampered with their contents. Zahi Abu Ali was arrested after his family’s home was searched. The IOF soldiers shot and damaged the tires of Raed Dabak’s vehicle in the same town.

The Red Crescent Society said in a statement that IOF soldiers fired 29 tear gas canisters towards its headquarters. Several members of the society suffered breathing problems and a fire occurred in the vicinity of the building.

In al-Khalil IOF raided and searched several homes in several neighborhoods while settlers attacked citizens’ homes in Khirbet Zanuta east of Dhahriya town.

IOF stormed Abu Kteila neighborhood and searched a number of houses in the Al-Haraiq area and the southern area of the city.

Settlers attacked livestock farmers and their homes in Khirbet Zanuta in an attempt to terrorize them and push them to leave the area threatened by eviction for building settlements. No injuries were reported.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a campaign of raids and arrests on Tuesday night and at dawn Wednesday in different areas of the West Bank.

In Ramallah and Al-Bireh IOF raided several houses attacked citizens injured some of them and damaged their properties.

According to the Jalazoun Center for Community Media the released prisoner and a leader in Hamas Sheikh Bajis Nakhleh 57 and his ex-prisoner son Maarouf 31 were arrested.

IOF also arrested one lawyer and two Palestinians and two other released prisoners one of them was assaulted before his arrest.

Local sources reported that the IOF soldiers also arrested Sheikh Jamal Al-Tawil a Hamas leader from his home in the Umm Al-Sharayet neighborhood in Al-Bireh about two weeks after his release from the Israeli prisons.

During the raid clashes erupted between the IOF and dozens of youths. The IOF soldiers fired live and rubber bullets stun grenades and tear gas canisters attacked a number of citizens beating and smashing the doors of several houses.

In Bethlehem eyewitness said that IOF arrested two young men from the city.

In Jenin IOF arrested four citizens in Jaba town south of the city according to the local sources.

The sources added that four young Palestinians were also arrested in Qabatiya town.

In Tubas Kamal Bani Odeh the director of the prisoner club in Tubas stated that the IOF soldiers arrested the released prisoner Marwan Ahmed Bisharat 30 from Tamoun town after storming and searching his home.

In al-Khalil IOF arrested the 30-year-old Makrouem Al-Jabari from the city after breaking into his house and searching it.
