Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Wednesday night and at dawn Thursday a campaign of raids searches and arrests in various areas of the West Bank.
In Nablus local sources said that IOF stormed Salem village and conducted extensive searches of citizens’ homes.
IOF arrested Anas Shtayyeh 25 his brother Khaled 21 and Amr Hamdan 20 from the village.
In al-Khalil eyewitness reported that IOF arrested Muhammad Burqan 32 after raiding his house in the southern area of al-Khalil.
The IOF soldiers set up military checkpoints at the entrances to the city and its towns and camps and searched citizens’ vehicles and checked their ID cards.
In Ramallah IOF raided Kharbatha Bani Harith village and the Al-Huda Fuel Company northwest of the city and seized surveillance camera recordings from Al-Bireh city and the company.
The IOF soldiers arrested Ali Al-Sheikh 25 after breaking into his house according to the local sources.
In Bethlehem IOF stormed the Aida refugee camp and clashes erupted.
Three young men were shot with live bullets by IOF and they were taken to Beit Jala Hospital for treatment. Three other citizens were arrested after raiding and searching their families’ homes the eyewitness added.
