Raids arrests in various areas of West Bank and Jerusalem

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Tuesday night and at dawn Wednesday a large-scale campaign of raids and arrests in different areas of the West Bank.

Local sources reported that IOF soldiers arrested 5 Palestinians ranging in age from 16 to 29 years after raiding and searching their families’ houses in Tekoa town in Bethlehem.

Activist Ahmed Salah stated that IOF had notified the demolition of a house and retaining walls at the Abu Al-Yusr site in the Fagor area west of Al-Khader town in southern Bethlehem.

He pointed out that the IOF had demolished about 20 houses in different areas of Al-Khader lands since 2021.

The director of the Palestinian Prisoner club in Jenin Montaser Sammour stated that IOF arrested Muhammad Saba’na 27 after storming the town and searching his family’s house.

In al-Khalil local sources said that IOF arrested Muhammad Ghattasha 22 and Ibrahim Abu Awad 20 from Al-Fawwar refugee camp after breaking into their homes and tampering with their contents.

Meanwhile media activist Muhammad Awad stated that IOF raided several areas in Beit Ummar town and arrested the young men Izzat Awad and Ibrahim Abu Ayyash.

In Nablus the IOF soldiers arrested five civilians while Jewish settlers stormed the Joseph Tomb.

Eyewitness said that dozens of settlers stormed the Joseph Tomb in the eastern region of Nablus under IOF protection which led to the outbreak of clashes with locals in the area.

Furthermore the sources noted that IOF arrested Azzam Jawabreh from a coffee shop in the northern Nablus town of Asira.

Muhammad Azim Sebastia Mayor confirmed that IOF soldiers broke into the town and raided several homes and arrested four young men aged between 19 to 20 years.

In Salfit local sources said that IOF arrested the lawyer Hussam Al-Deek and seized his mobile phone after storming his house in Kafr El-Deek and tampering with its contents.

In Tulkarem IOF arrested four young civilians three of them from the suburb of Shweika north of Tulkarem and one from the city after raiding and searching their houses according to local sources.

In Occupied Jerusalem Hizma Media Center said that the Israeli police arrested 5 citizens of the town of Hizma northeast of Jerusalem including two brothers one of them is a minor.

The occupation police broke into the houses of these young Palestinians tampered with their contents and attacked the family of one of them by spraying pepper gas and three of them suffered breathing difficulty.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Tuesday night and at dawn Wednesday a campaign of raids and arrests in various areas of the West Bank.

In Bethlehem local sources reported that IOF arrested Amir Samir Tabanja 21 from Wadi Shaheen in the city center after raiding and searching his family’s home.

In Jenin IOF arrested five civilians including two brothers from the towns of Burqin and Qabatiya south of the Jenin.

Montaser Sammour director of the prisoner club in Jenin stated that IOF arrested Ghassan Shalamish in Burqin along with his sons Haitham 15 and Iyad 16.

In Qabatiya the IOF soldiers arrested Tariq Abu al-Rub and Anwar Saba’na after they stormed their families’ houses and tampered with their contents. Clashes erupted between several Palestinians and IOF without any injuries reported.

In Nablus IOF arrested two citizens. Local sources stated that IOF broke into Madama village and arrested the ex-prisoner Thabet Nassar after raiding and searching his home.

IOF also stormed Sebastia town and arrested Ayham Nahed Akl after searching his house according to the sources.

Eyewitness said that IOF raided on Wednesday Birzeit town and arrested Majdi Nasser and Shaha 27 and Muhannad Najeeb Saif 24.

Clashes broke out between Palestinian youths and the IOF soldiers in Al-Tira neighborhood during which IOF fired tear gas canisters without any injuries reported.

In al-Khalil IOF arrested on Wednesday Issa al-Najjar and Nizar Muhammad Yusef al-Nawajaa after storming and searching shops and stores near Tariq bin Ziyad School in the southern region of the city.

In Occupied Jerusalem the Israeli police arrested on Wednesday 5 young men from their houses in the eastern neighborhood of Hizma town northeast of the Holy City all of whom were ex-prisoners according to Hizma Media Center. On Tuesday night the occupation police shot a young man with a rubber-coated metal bullet in his foot during clashes that erupted in the town.

In Tubas IOF arrested on Wednesday a Palestinian from the town of Tamoun.

Kamal Bani Odeh the director of the prisoner club in Tubas said that IOF raided the town and arrested the ex-prisoner Mustafa Hussein Bani Odeh.

Raids arrests in various areas of West Bank and Jerusalem

The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched on Thursday night and at dawn Friday a campaign of arrests and raids in various areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.

In Jenin violent clashes broke out in Qabatiya town during which at least one Palestinian was injured.

Local sources reported that local youths opened fire at the IOF soldiers and threw Molotov cocktails one of which hit a military vehicle and set it on fire.

IOF arrested Ahmed Zakarneh and his nephew Taher Zakarneh after storming their homes searching them and tampering with their contents.

IOF raided Tura village in Jenin where measurements of the house of the detainee Muhammad Marwah Qebha were taken. He was accused of killing a female settler in the Rayhan forest on 12/20/2020. Also 3 citizens were arrested from Tura on Thursday.

In Tulkarem IOF stormed Deir Al-Ghusoun town and arrested two Palestinians and searched several homes.

In Qalqilya IOF arrested Ibrahim Nizam Radwan after they raided and searched his house.

In Occupied Jerusalem clashes erupted in the Al-Wad neighborhood and in the Old City between Palestinian youths and Israeli police during which sound bombs were fired at the young men.

The Israeli police arrested Abdullah Najib Abdul Rahman Al-Bashiti and Murad Al-Tarhouni after brutally assaulting them on Al-Wad road.

Furthermore the Israeli police arrested on Thursday a young Jerusalemite in front of the al-Asbat Gate area in the vicinity of the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem.

Meanwhile the IOF arrested two young men from Kfert village southwest of Jenin on Thursday evening.

Montaser Sammour the director of the prisoner club in Jenin stated that IOF arrested Muhammad Iyad Turkman and Ahmed Khaled Ismail while they were passing through a military checkpoint near Ya’bad town and seized the vehicle they were traveling in.
