A rally was staged in Bethlehem on Friday in solidarity the hunger-striking Palestinian detainee Hasan Shawka.
Dozens of Palestinian activists and civil society representatives joined the rally and lifted banners calling for releasing prisoner Shawka from Israeli dungeons.
Activist Mohamed Hmeida said prisoner Shawka has been on a hunger strike for 20 consecutive days to protest the administrative detention term issued following an eight-month sentence behind Israeli prison bars.
