Rally to speak up for Palestinians’ right to armed resistance

Tuesday 6-February-2018

A rally was held in Khan Younis on Tuesday in support of the Palestinian resistance and in protest at Israel’s simmering terrorism against the Palestinian people.

Speaking at the rally activist Sherif Hamad from the Ahrar Movement strongly condemned the incessant Israeli crimes against the Palestinians.

Hamad paid tribute to Ahmed Jarrar killed earlier in the day by the Israeli military saying he will forever remain an icon of resistance.

He vowed that Hamas and the Palestinians will never remain mum over such Israeli crimes and that no crises will dampen the spirits of the Palestinian resistance.

Hamad urged the Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas to immediately cease security cooperation with the Israeli occupation and invalidate the notorious Oslo accords.

He further appealed to all national factions to opt for a unified resistance strategy aiming to oust the Israeli occupation and rehabilitate Palestinians’ inalienable rights.

He also urged the world’s leaders to kick out Israel ambassadors shut the U.S. and Israel embassies in their countries and side by the Palestinians throughout their anti-occupation struggle.

For his part Hamas leader Emad al-Sinwar said Ahmed Jarrar stands as an iconic figure symbolizing Palestinians’ self-abnegation and readiness to sacrifice their lives for the sake of their land and holy sites.
