NABLUS (PIC)– Relatives of Palestinian captive Wajdi Nabil Eshtiye have asked legal and human rights organizations to help them find out the fate of Wajdi who was wounded in the recent Israeli quelling of Jalbo prison.
Wajdi’s mother said that she was surprised that her son did not show up during her last visit to the prison. She explained that her other imprisoned son Saher came to tell her that Wajdi was wounded in the Israeli storming of the jail.
The mother quoted Saher as saying that Wajdi was injured in a sonic bomb explosion that directly hit his body which chopped off a number of his fingers and caused burns in his body and injuries in his right leg. Wajdi was carried by an army chopper to hospital Saher underlined.
Wajdi 22 is serving an 8-year-term while Saher 26 is serving a 20-year-term.
