Renewed dawn attacks on Gaza claim more civilian lives

Tuesday 11-May-2021

The death toll from Israel’s new aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip rose to 24 Palestinians after another four civilians including an elderly woman and her special needs son died at dawn Tuesday.

According to local sources an Israeli warplane earlier in the morning bombed an eight-story apartment building near the Susi Mosque in ash-Shati refugee camp northwest of Gaza killing a 57-year-old woman and two others including her son (with special needs).

Two apartments in one floor of that building were reportedly targeted by the warplane.

Another Gazan citizen identified as Saleem al-Farra was also proclaimed dead in a hospital after succumbing to serious injuries he sustained last night in an Israeli attack on al-Manara neighborhood in Khan Yunis.

Accordingly the number of citizens killed by the Israeli occupation army since it started on Monday its aggression against Gaza climbed to 24 victims including nine children.

Israel’s earlier attacks have also wounded 103 others some seriously.

Over 130 airstrikes targeted different areas of the densely populated coastal enclave according to the Israeli occupation army.
