58 Palestinian women and girls including 10 minors have been held in Israeli prisons amid very difficult detention condition rights sources revealed.
Palestine center for prisoners’ studies pointed out that Israeli arrest campaigns targeting Palestinian women have notably escalated over the past few weeks over their participation in the ongoing protests against US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Ten minors under the age of 18 are among the mentioned female prisoners.
The center said that the detainees have been made to endure dire conditions of captivity including heavy beating psycho-physical mistreatment solitary confinement medical neglect and unfair trials.
