Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire at Israeli soldiers in Nablus at dawn Saturday while the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different West Bank areas and kidnaped several citizens from Jenin.
According to local sources resistance fighters fired a hail of bullets at Israeli soldiers manning the Huwara checkpoint in southern Nablus.
Meanwhile the IOF stormed an-Nemsawi neighborhood in western Nablus carried out raids on homes and confiscated a car and security camera recordings.
The IOF also raided an apartment building on the outskirts of Burin village in Nablus without making arrests.
In eastern Qalqilya several citizens including children suffered from their exposure to tear gas after the IOF stormed Azzun town and attacked their homes.
In Jenin five young men from Faqqua village were taken prisoners during an IOF raid on a workshop near the separation wall.
In a separate incident local sources reported that a citizen and his son were injured when a horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked homes in Burin village south of Nablus without providing further details.
