Friday 7-January-2022

Four Palestinians were wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets on Friday fired by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) as clashes broke out near Jabal Subaih area in Beita town south of Nablus.

Palestinian Red Crescent office in Nablus affirmed that at least four Palestinians suffered rubber bullet injuries. Two of them were shot in their heads.

15 others suffered teargas inhalation problems the sources added pointing out that the IOF blocked medical crews’ access to the area of the clashes.

Every Friday Palestinians stage demonstrations across the West Bank to protest Israel’s ongoing policy of building Jewish-only settlements on stolen Palestinian land.

According to estimates some 640000 Jewish settlers currently live on 196 settlements and more than 200 settler outposts throughout the occupied West Bank.
