Head of the Supreme Islamic Council and the al-Aqsa Mosque Preacher Sheikh Ikrima Sabri called in a press release on Wednesday for intensifying the Palestinian presence in al-Aqsa Mosque next Friday.
Sheikh Sabri’s call came in response to Israeli planned break-ins into Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday in order to celebrate the Passover sacrifice.
Sheikh Sabri called for intensifying Palestinian presence in the Mosque and attending lessons and spending their time in worship all year round.
He also called on the Arab and Islamic nations to bear their responsibility towards Israeli threats against al-Aqsa and to protect Islamic properties and holy shrines in occupied Jerusalem and Palestine.
