Sada Social has denounced Twitter’s persistence in shutting down dozens of Palestinian accounts that showed support for the Palestinian people and exposed Israel’s crimes and violations.
In a statement on Tuesday Sada Social described such Twitter’s behavior as “flagrant insistence on desecrating the democratic atmosphere which the platform claims to provide for its users” and “gross bias in favor of Israel’s diktats and its human rights violations.”
Sada Social a site that monitors violations of various social media platforms against Palestinian content said that Twitter targeted and blocked over 86 accounts of noted media centers journalists and Palestinian and Arab social media activists because of their positions in support of the Palestinian people and their legitimate struggle against the Israeli occupation.
Sada Social pointed to the ongoing incitement to violence and hatred against the Palestinians by Israeli institutions and individuals on the same platform of Twitter.
