Hamas chief abroad Maher Salah has affirmed that his Movement gives priority to the issue of the Palestinian detainees in Saudi jails and spares no effort to have them released.
“Your freedom is a priority for the Movement and we are working for your release from prisons” Salah said in a message addressed on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to the Palestinian detainees in Saudi Arabia.
The Hamas official described the detention of Palestinians in Saudi Arabia as “unjust and unfair” stressing that the detainees “committed no wrongdoing except that they helped or supported those who work for the liberation of our homeland and holy sites from a criminal and abominable occupation and for our return to our homes.”
“Be confident that securing your release restoring your freedom and reuniting you with your families are a priority for the Movement’s leadership” Salah said addressing the detainees.
