OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC)– Sheikh Ra’ed Salah the leader of the Islamic Movement in 1948 occupied Palestine has warned of a “Zionist scheme” aimed at flattening more than 1700 houses in occupied Jerusalem during 2009.
Sheikh Salah told a press conference in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday that he received information that the Israeli occupation authority was planning the demolition of that number of houses.
He pointed out that implementing the scheme would displace more than 17000 Jerusalemite citizens adding that occupied Jerusalem was currently passing through the most serious stage since its occupation in 1967.
Salah appealed to the Arab and Islamic rulers and ruled to shoulder their responsibilities and save the holy city from the danger of judaization.
