The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped at dawn Thursday several Palestinian citizens during campaigns in different West Bank areas.
According to local sources the IOF kidnaped four citizens from Nablus and two others from al-Khalil and al-Khader town in Bethlehem.
13 citizens were also taken prisoners during an IOF campaign in Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem.
Local sources said that violent clashes started at dawn between Palestinian youths and the IOF in the camp and continued into the morning hours of Thursday adding that the IOF used live ammunition and tear gas and stun grenades intensively during the events.
The IOF also broke into and ransacked dozens of homes in the camp and used rooftops of some homes as vantage points to attack local residents.
Israeli soldiers reportedly raided the house of martyr Saif Abu Libdah in the camp and interrogated members of his family. Abu Libdah was killed by the IOF in Jenin a few days ago.
In Jenin the IOF kidnaped four citizens from Kafr Dan village. Three of the detainees are brothers of martyr Sha’es Kamamji who was shot dead by the IOF in the village earlier today.
Two other citizens were taken prisoners during IOF raids on homes in Ramallah and east Jerusalem.
Meanwhile the IOF stormed different areas of Tulkarem City including its refugee camp where clashes between them and local youths took place.
In a separate incident a West Bank worker was reportedly injured when the IOF opened fire at him near a separation fence in southern Tulkarem. He was evacuated to Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem for medical assistance.
