Scores of Palestinians injured during IOF raids in West Bank

Scores of Palestinians were injured on Saturday during Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raids in several areas of West Bank.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society the IOF fired rubber-coated metals and teargas bombs at Palestinians in the Huwara village in Nablus and Kafr Qaddoum village in Qalqilya leaving 30 Palestinians injured and causing breathing problems to others.

Meanwhile a Palestinian young man was wounded by a rubber-coated bullet in the head during clashes triggered by settlers’ attack on the Huwara village in Nablus according to Ghassan Douglas in charge of settlements file in the northern part of the West Bank.

In a related incident Jewish settlers guarded by the Israeli police attacked youths in Bab al-Silsilah and Silwan village in Jerusalem. In addition clashes erupted after the Israeli police stormed the Bab al-Rahma prayer area east of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In a separate incident the Israeli police arrested a young man and a young woman after brutally attacking them near Bab al-Amud in Occupied Jerusalem.

Earlier in the morning hordes of Jewish settlers raided the Bab al-Amud area in the old city of Jerusalem and provocatively performed Talmudic prayers under Israeli police guard.

Scores of Palestinians injured during IOF raids in West Bank

Scores of Palestinians were injured on Friday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) suppressed the weekly anti-settlement marches in several areas of the West Bank.

Local sources reported that IOF soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets and teargas bombs at the Palestinian protesters to quell the marches.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society and medical sources identically reported that 53 Palestinians were injured after the IOF soldiers attacked Palestinian protestors in Beita and Beit Dajan villages south of Nablus and Kafr Qaddum village east of Qalqilya.

Moreover 15 Palestinians were injured after IOF soldiers attacked the protestors in the weekly anti-settlement march in the Masafer Yatta area south of the West Bank city of al-Khalil.

In a related incident Jewish settlers smashed Palestinian journalists’ vehicles while they were covering the Palestinian rally against the Israeli decision to expel Palestinian citizens from Masafer Yatta communities in al-Khalil.
