Scores of Palestinians were injured on Saturday during Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raids in several areas of West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society the IOF fired rubber-coated metals and teargas bombs at Palestinians in the Huwara village in Nablus and Kafr Qaddoum village in Qalqilya leaving 30 Palestinians injured and causing breathing problems to others.
Meanwhile a Palestinian young man was wounded by a rubber-coated bullet in the head during clashes triggered by settlers’ attack on the Huwara village in Nablus according to Ghassan Douglas in charge of settlements file in the northern part of the West Bank.
In a related incident Jewish settlers guarded by the Israeli police attacked youths in Bab al-Silsilah and Silwan village in Jerusalem. In addition clashes erupted after the Israeli police stormed the Bab al-Rahma prayer area east of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a separate incident the Israeli police arrested a young man and a young woman after brutally attacking them near Bab al-Amud in Occupied Jerusalem.
Earlier in the morning hordes of Jewish settlers raided the Bab al-Amud area in the old city of Jerusalem and provocatively performed Talmudic prayers under Israeli police guard.
