Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violently quelled Palestinian protest marches in various West Bank areas after the Friday prayer.
Several Palestinian citizens were injured by the IOF live bullets in Huwara town south of the West Bank city of Nablus.
“Three Palestinian citizens were injured including one by the IOF live bullets while they were confronting the settlers’ attack in Huwara” the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported. It added that Israeli soldiers attacked an ambulance preventing it from reaching the town.
In a related development IOF soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas bombs at Palestinian protestors to quell the anti-settlement marches in Beit Dajan village in Nablus and Kafr Qaddoum village in Qalqilya.
Scores of Palestinian citizens suffered breathing problems in Kafr Qaddoum village while in Beit Dajan two Palestinian young men were hurt by tear gas bombs one in the hand and another in the foot.
Moreover IOF soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets in addition to tear gas bombs and stun grenades at Palestinian protestors to quell a march in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Bab al-Zawiya area in the center of the West Bank city of al-Khalil causing breathing problems to several Palestinians.
Similar confrontations were reported in Aida refugee camp in northern Bethlehem after IOF soldiers fired live and rubber bullets in addition to teargas on the protesters causing breathing problems to a number of young men.
