Scores of Palestinians injured in West Bank clashes

Scores of Palestinians were injured on Friday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas bombs at Palestinian protestors to quell the anti-settlement marches in several areas of the West Bank.

According to local sources the IOF soldiers fired rubber-coated bullets and tear gas bombs leaving dozens of Palestinians injured during violent clashes that erupted in Beit Dajan and Beita villages in Nablus in addition to Kafr Qaddoum village in Qalqilya and the Masafer Yatta in al-Khalil.

Scores of Palestinians including two journalists were wounded after the Jewish settlers beat them with rifle butts during the settlers’ attack on the anti-settlement march in the Masafer Yatta in al-Khalil.

Furthermore two foreign activists were beaten and arrested after they participated in the anti-settlement march in Masafer Yatta.

In a related incident the IOF soldiers detained 4 Palestinian young men at the Arraba roundabout south of Jenin. They also stormed several entrances of the West Bank city of Jenin and set up makeshift checkpoints at the entrances.

Moreover Jewish settlers protected by IOF soldiers raided the Qaryut village in the West Bank city of Nablus.

Scores of Palestinians were injured or suffered breathing problems on Friday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas bombs at Palestinian protestors to quell the anti-settlement marches in several areas of the West Bank.

According to Palestinian medical sources IOF soldiers fired rubber-coated bullets and tear gas bombs leaving dozens of Palestinians including a child injured during violent clashes that erupted in Beit Dajan Beita and Qaryut villages in Nablus in addition to Kafr Qaddoum village east of Qalqilya.

In a related incident five Palestinians were wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets and dozens suffered breathing problems after the IOF soldiers attacked protesters in Beita village who condemned the killing of Abu Akleh (the Al Jazeera correspondent) and raised her pictures.

Moreover the IOF attacked Palestinian protestors who condemned the Israeli decision to declare 14 Masafer Yatta communities and villages “firing zones” aiming at the forcible expulsion of Palestinian citizens from the Masafer Yatta communities south of the West Bank city of al-Khalil.

Furthermore a fire broke out in Palestinian-owned lands in the Kafr Qaddoum village east of Qalqilya after IOF soldiers fired stun grenades and teargas bombs in the village.

Scores of Palestinians were injured or suffered breathing problems on Friday afternoon after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas bombs at Palestinian protestors to quell the anti-settlement marches in several areas of the West Bank.

IOF soldiers fired rubber-coated bullets and tear gas bombs leaving tens of Palestinians injured during violent clashes that erupted in Beit Dajan Beita and Qaryut villages in Nablus in addition to Kafr Qaddoum village east of Qalqilya and Aseeda area in the West Bank city of al-Khalil.

Moreover the IOF attacked Palestinian protestors who condemned the Israeli attempts to expel Palestinian citizens from the Masafer Yatta communities south of the West Bank city of al-Khalil.

The Supreme Court of Israel had rejected the petition against the Israeli decision to declare 12 Masafer Yatta communities “firing zones” which posed the risk of forcible expulsion of nearly 4000 local citizens.

In another unrelated incident the Palestinian shepherd Omar al-Hathalin was injured after Jewish settlers brutally beat him and attacked his sheep in Umm al-Khair village in the Masafer Yatta area.

Scores of Palestinians were injured on Friday after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked Palestinian protestors in several areas in the West Bank.

IOF soldiers fired metal bullets stun grenades and gas bombs at Palestinian protestors to quell the weekly anti-settlement marches injuring or causing breathing problems to several youths in separate places in the West Bank.

Clashes also erupted in Kafr Qaddoum village east of Qalqilya leaving ten Palestinians including a child injured with rubber-coated bullets and causing breathing problems to several others.

Most of the injuries were sustained in Beita village south of Nablus and Beit Dajan village to the east of the city.

Scores of Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during clashes in several areas of the West Bank on Friday.

Eyewitnesses said that IOF soldiers fired rubber bullets and teargas at Palestinian protesters in the weekly demonstrations of Beita village south of Nablus and Kafr Qaddum village east of Qalqilya causing breathing problems for dozens of protestors.

The IOF soldiers also fired a barrage of tear gas canisters at Palestinian demonstrators in Beit Dajan town east of Nablus causing several injuries.

Furthermore Jewish settlers attacked Palestinians in the village of Qusra south of Nablus under IOF guard.

In another development hordes of Israeli settlers stormed the water spring of Qaryut village south of Nablus igniting confrontations with local youths.
