Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers on Sunday evening went on the rampage throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem attacking Palestinian citizens and their property.
In al-Khalil a horde of settlers hurled rocks at Palestinian cars in the east of the city.
Local sources said that armed settlers from the illegal settlements of Kiryat Arba and Kharsina threw rocks at Palestinian vehicles traveling on Road 60 near the villages of al-Baq’ah al-Buwaira and the junction of Beit Einun town.
They added that some drivers and passengers aboard cars suffered injuries and several cars sustained different levels of damage in the settler attack.
In Nablus other group of settlers also stoned Palestinian cars near the Zaatara checkpoint in the south.
Local official Ghassan Daghlas said that several settlers rallied near the Zaatara checkpoint and embarked on attacking cars with stones.
He warned that groups of violent settlers declared their intents on social media to gather on roads between Palestinian areas in the West Bank block roads and attack local residents and their property.
Settlers from the illegal settlement of Yitzhar also threw stones at Palestinian cars on a road near Burin town southwest of Nablus. Some cars sustained damage.
In Bethlehem dozens of settlers rallied in the area between Nahalin town and Jab’a village near the Gush Etzion settlement bloc.
In east Jerusalem violent clashes broke out between settlers escorted by police forces and Palestinian citizens in the Old City Shuafat refugee camp and Silwan district.
Settlers also stormed Bab al-Amud plaza in the evening and waved Israeli flags after police forces evacuated the area from Palestinian citizens.
