A settler from the illegal Jewish settlement of Kedumim who was injured two weeks ago in a Palestinian stabbing operation in the occupied West Bank was pronounced dead by doctors on Monday night.
According to the Hebrew media 55-year-old Shalom Sofer died at Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital after his condition deteriorated.
On October 25 Sofer suffered moderate to severe injuries when a Palestinian stabbed him in al-Funduq village east of Qalqilya.
At the time the alleged Palestinian stabber was detained following a brief manhunt in the area.
