An Israeli settler was injured Monday afternoon after being stabbed in Afula city in the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories Hebrew sources reported.
Yedioth Ahronoth website said that the stabbed woman is suffering from serious injuries adding that a Palestinian suspect was arrested by the Israeli police in the scene.
The Israeli authorities later informed the Palestinian Military Liaison that the suspect’s name is Nour al-Din Shinnawi 23 and he is a resident of Jenin city in the northern West Bank.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that released pictures showed Shinnawi lying on the ground and shot in the legs. His family were able to recognize him.
