An extremist Jewish settler opened fire on Sunday evening at a group of Palestinian citizens in Silwan district south of the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem.
According to local sources the settler opened fire at citizens in Wadi Qaddum area in Silwan but luckily no one was hurt in the shooting attack.
Meanwhile ongoing clashes reportedly took place yesterday in the east Jerusalem refugee camp of Shuafat between local youths and Israeli police forces.
Local sources said that Israeli forces fired rubber bullets and volleys of tear gas canisters and stun grenades during skirmishes with local youths in the camp.
Police forces also stormed Anata town in the northeast of Jerusalem encircled a Mosque in as-Salam suburb and confiscated security camera recordings from commercial stores.
An Israeli female soldier was killed and another one suffered critical injuries in a shooting operation that targeted the military checkpoint near Shuafat refugee camp on Saturday evening.
Since the incident the Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out raids on homes and arrests in different areas of Jerusalem especially in Shuafat camp and Anata town.
