Tuesday 17-November-2020

Dozens of Jewish settlers led by a Knesset member last night stormed the evacuated settlement of Sa-Nur southwest of Jenin in the occupied West Bank as a prelude to rebuild the settlement.

According to the Hebrew website 0404 about 100 settlers led by Knesset member Ariel Kallner (Likud) gathered on the site of the evacuated settlement and announced their intention to rebuild the settlement again.

The settlers who visited the site included young couples officers military graduates and other families.

In this regard Yossi Dagan head of the Shomron regional council of settlements called on the Israeli government and the Knesset to give the green light for the rebuilding of all evacuated settlements and outposts in the West Bank including the settlement of Sa-Nur.

In another incident a horde of settlers on Tuesday morning deployed a tent on a Palestinian swath of land in Battir town west of Bethlehem.

Local official Hasan Bureijia said that the settlers pitched their tent in al-Khammar area of the town as a prelude to building an outpost.
